Woke this morning to very high winds, so much so that it had almost torn the insulating screen that I put on the windscreen and side windows of the driving cab every night,(helps stop condensation inside in case you are wondering). wouldn't have been much longer before it was Adieu Silverscreen.
Been studying the details in the weather forecast service that I'm using. Quite interesting if you click in the various fields in the detailed report. Little info windows pop up with more data. Like this morning I liked on the temperature which was telling me it was 2°C, the pop up confirmed this and additional field read "feels like -5°C". Which explains why it felt so chilly nipping across to the Kazzie earlier this morning.
Just for fun have a look here it should take you straight to Ramberg, which is where I'm based and check me out:

There is a language selector button at the top right.
Absolutely no point in going out with a camera at the moment, it is either raining, snowing or sleeting and apart from the camera pretty wet, it puts drops on the lens. Which unfortunately then turn out to be the sharpest things in the image.
Having said that I did try, on foot, for about an hour, but this only served to confirm what I've just written. Needless to say I am now in the comparative luxury of my five star home boring you folks. Got an image though. Only one mind and more for the thought than anything else. Really hope the Owner's not serious about his repairs!!! Check it at the link below:

17:09 and very still outside. Ominous, not very cloudy and the sea has quietened down. Signs that something maybe up with Aurora tonight, or just the quiet before the storm? The odd strong gusts of wind keep sneaking up though I just noticed. Whatever, had just better make sure the Silverscreen is well secured me thinks.
21:19 all done for today, calm has past over and storm setting in. Last all round check that what can be secured is, then off to bed to wait and see what is still there in the morning, if anything, the van is certainly bouncing about a bit. 🤔
