Oman is booked and being eagerly awaited, from my side, not sure about the folks living down there.
Despite all the time I have spent there I always find it exciting to be going back, photo opportunities are everywhere and I shall be hoping for more like the image on the right and not any like the one below.
I get the shivers every time I think about that trip. They have nothing to do with the individual brooding over events and waiting for the brew that warmed us up the following morning. He after all got us stuck and, I'll give him his due, did all of the digging out afterwards, or nearly. Although thinking about it I might have managed one shovelful myself.
This trip happened and turned out to be fun.

This trip now depends on my right knee. Going to have to do the sensible thing and have the meniscus op'd before I go. So I guess if this takes too long from start to finish the trip will have to be moved to "Early Plans 2015".

Will hopefully be spent getting plenty more images like the one on the left. Planned is to spend the time in and around Tromsø. There is a decent camping site there that I have used before and they are open all year. Am planning to spend the whole month up there.

For the worry guts'es amongst you, I shall of course be doing my best not to repeat this trick again and I have to get my monies worth out of the studded tyres I had to buy as a result of the small excursion.

Want to be back in Norway to experience Autumn for a change.
This was a wonderful trip again and of all the seasons I prefer the Autumn.
