To tidy up a little and to align myself with the criticism received re black and white the images of the day I have removed them from this page, which now will only show the colour versions. Anybody still being interested in how the Black and White versions compare follow the link and you will see:

The following images are just to share what catches my eye day by day on the current trip. It started a week ago and hopefully will not be over until the end of March.

For the sharp eyed of you out there these are just my picks of the day that have been subjected to a quick Lightroom processing.

When I get home I shall revisit to review my selections and try for some cleverer stuff.

On processing I'm finding that as a lot of the colours are close to black or white anyway that they are better viewed as such. The conversion is a simply a quick Command+V shortcut with a nudge to the curve.
Be interested on your reactions, colour or Black & White. I shall post them side by side to make it easier.

Just a note to these images, I'm posting them straight out of the camera so all the folks chasing me for Aurora pics can see I'm trying. Forgive the quality it's 01:10 am as I post them and I only got back from taking them about 15 min. ago. They have not been processed in any which way and are badly in need of it. Next shitty day I guess.
23.03.2016-Been looking at processing these but I need my main machine back home not the laptop. What I have been trying here does not do what I would like to.
