03.05.12 Slept through the biggest gale we have experienced in Andenes this trip. Made for a disturbed sleep but got some. Went suspiciously still toward early morning. Reason why was immediately apparent on dropping the blinds on getting up, snowed again, and in mega amounts.
Finally found out what the wee bird found all over here in large numbers and I could not identify. Snow Bunting. This was thanks to the folks at the Whale Safari office.
Anyway had a lazy start and an easy run down through the Vesterålen to finish up at another of our old camp sites in Ramberg on the Lofoten.
Just before leaving Andoya saw a whole bunch of Lapwing in a field.
Only stayed the night in Ramberg and treated our selves to a delicious piece of Halibut.
