25.04.12 Set off as planned as close to the coastline as possible only to find by about 11:00am that as lovely as it is it is really all the same and the major part can only be accessed by bicycle or by hiking in which is not what we are kitted up for, nor does it fit into the time plan. Hence next major plan change.
Cut west circled south of Riga up the coastline of the Gulf of Riga to the Estonian border then straight on to Tallinn. On this stretch thought if our luck is in might just connect with a ferry to Helsinki and get a place on it as well. Luck was in and we set sail at 21:00 and disembarked at 23:00.
Absolutely knackered and the first available parking place that was not too directly visible too the public eye was located and camp set up. Looking straight at the wall of a very ancient looking port factory type building. N 60°09’28” E 24°56’00”
It turned out to be very quiet during the night until 06:00 when everyone started to got to work.
